  • Where can I park?
    Handicapped parking is offered at The Hub at 1000 E Main St, Radford. If that lot fills up, guests are welcome to utilize handicapped parking on the Radford University campus. Street parking is allowed as posted throughout the City of Radford. Additional city and university parking lots are available. The Radford Transit will be in service and will drop off at the Bus Hub located at 1000 E. Main St.
  • What type of entertainment will there be?
    The main stage will be at the center of the street. Live music will be offered all day! Full line-up will be announced summer 2025!
  • What's in the Kids' Zone?
    The Kids' Zone will feature five inflatable games, a shaded rest and coloring area, and a special class taught by Fluidity Performance! The kid’s zone is completely free and is sponsored by Fraternity & Sorority Life at Radford University as part of their commitment to service and local community engagement.
  • So, is downtown closed?
    No! Downtown east end merchants are absolutely open and would love for you to stop in.
  • What food vendors will be available?
    Food Trucks will be announced soon! And main street Radford vendors including: Coco-nuts, Sharkey’s Wing and Rib Joint, Amando’s Italian Kitchen, Nagoya Sushi and Arabica Cafe and Bakery.
  • How can I stay up-to-date on Radford Community Fest news?
    You can stay in-the-know by connecting at the event page on Facebook and following Radford Student Life on Instagram.
  • Who is allowed to be a vendor?
    This Radford Community Fest aims to highlight local artisans, crafts folk, merchants, makers, community builders, and engagement opportunities. You are welcome to sell goods (not resell) as long as you have a business license. A one-day license is available from the City of Radford. Food sales must also have a health permit. Beer, wine, and spirits must have an ABC permit.
  • How do I register for a booth?
    You'll complete the entire process online including payment. Please visit the registration page to get set up: https://radford.nbsstore.net/radford-community-fest
  • What's provided?
    One booth space is 10'X10' and will be marked on the street. You are responsible for bringing a tent, tables, and anything else you need to set up within that space. Limited requests for power will be offered for an additional fee. Limited parking available for vendors on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Can I just have a booth for part of the day?
    No, by registering for a booth you agree to be present for the entire festival. Coming late or leaving early will potentially result in being banned from future events.
  • I’m a registered vendor. What do I need to prepare for?
    Those who registered for a tent space will receive communication from festival planners. Registrants may bring their own tents, tables and chairs to build the 10 foot by 10 foot space. Parking directions will be sent via email ahead of the event.
  • What licenses do I need to be a vendor?
    All vendors must purchase a vendor license from the City of Radford by completing the attached application and paying a fee of $5.75. All vendors selling food must also complete the New River Health District Application.
